Teaching: Asceticism, integration and the archetypal vision of emptiness. Attachment to denial can be just as disastrous to the mystical life as indulgence. We must nurture our personal mythology, hnot a dogmatic universal principle. This teaching may be the most difficult of teh four: our innate dogmatism runs deep. This is just as true for the Buddhist as the Christian.
